The Heart Chakra Meditation is a simple technique that can bring about healing from physical and emotional distress as well as helping you to focus on forgiving, loving, letting go and trusting. Feelings like happiness, respect, compassion, generosity and love are fostered with this meditation.

Here is a simple 5 minute meditation that you can practice everyday or as often as you like:

Begin by sitting in the lotus position or in a comfortable chair with your spine straight and shoulders relaxed. Take a few deep and slow breaths as you clear your mind of all distractions. Hold the Heart Chakra Crystal in the air with your right hand. As you chant "OM", visualize the divine light energizing the crystal.

Next, hold the crystal to your heart with the Om symbol facing you. Continue to practice deep and slow breating. Visualize the energized crystal streaming its light into your heart region. Feel this energy radiating from your heart region up through your shoulders, up the back of your neck, over your head, down your face, back over the chest, lower abdomen and through your legs. Repeat this visualization a few more times.

To finish, hold the crystal in the air again with your right hand and chant "OM" as you visualize the divine energy of love flowing out of the crystal and towards the rest of the universe.
